I enjoyed every bit of it. Interestingly some people say girls like Darcy do not exist anymore. But they do. We are not just as verbose as others. I hope this will be one of the issues for discussion at the roundtable which by the way I am thoroughly looking forward to!

    • petra says:

H Rachel, that issue will be discussed at the roundtable session…’Come on…Is Darcy for real?!’. Looking forward to seeing you there!

  2. Colleen says:

This was the first book launch I have attended and I must say it was an awesome first time experience. Really looking forward to your Round-table event that you have planned for August 16,2015. 🙂

This lady is a true woman of the Lord who uses her talents to bless others from her Christian point of view. Youthful in her nature, she is what young readers and writers need to be able to develop their skills. No Guarantee is just the beginning and in a world where vulgarity is promoted, Petra Pierre books are what society needs,a good, clean love story!

  4. Alysia Alexander says:

A well written book that will keep you captivated from start to finish. The suspense builds with every flip of a page, and just when you think you can predict what will happen next you’re in for a delightful and sometimes frightful surprise. Awaken your love senses and get ready for a journey that will open new doors for you and even close some old ones..all…in…the…name…of…love!

    • petra says:

Glad you liked the suspense Alysia. Look out for the next title and hope to see you at the roundtable discussion!

Never been so lost into a novel like I was for No Guarantee. Even though it has been my second read of the entire book, I felt so much apart of the entire plot, that putting this book down was depressing. The real world appeared less fun. hahah…. Really enjoyed the build up and unfolding of events. Really inspired by the morality of Darcy and her love Dr Lacunza. More determined to remain pure until marriage. Beautiful themes and valuable Christian lessons were brought out and for a surety, will remain etched in my frontal lobe.

Great work Mrs Pierre-Robertson! Really looking forward to reading more from your creative imagination. 🙂
    God Bless

    • petra says:

Thank you for your kind words Dymonne. Yes, do save yourself for marriage as per Biblical principles and guidelines. Ensure you and that someone are worthy of each other. Blessings!

I Even Shared It With My Non-Adventist Friend Who Loves It As Well. God Bless Your Thoughts And Pen Petra. #MuchLove #TeamMarioAndDarcy

    • Petra says:

Jenna you are too kind! lol…Well guess what? “The Uncontrollable Flame” is scheduled to be launched on July 3, 2016. It is the story of Shannon (Darcy’s best friend) and Phil (Mario’s brother). They are slammed into each other’s space having to interact with each other in their role as Maid of Honor and Best Man for the wedding of Mario and Darcy. I say no more… Keep posted!

  7. Zahra Francis says:

The Uncontrollable Flame was as expected a good read! Sometimes in the Christian circle we tend to forget that we are human, but this book highlights the struggle that young men and women have when in relationships,in making decisions and trying to be good at it all and still taking care of ourselves. The truth is its a real struggle and this book says it all. I recommend everyone to read this book!

As my first experience at a book launch (The launch of “Second Chances”), I was blessed by the professional and well executed items that fitted the book title and contents.

There wasn’t a boring moment for me.

I was particularly enthused and happy to experience the video presentations with the Keynote speaker (Professor Paula Morgan) and how she identified and “drew out” from you (the Author, Petra Pierre – Robertson) concepts and issues which she thought crucial to the contents. You lived up to the challenge .

I appreciated the background info you offered before viewing.
My profound thanks and great respect to you for the herculean work to author this text among your other responsibilities.

Best wishes as you continue to model what God can do for us if we cooperate with Him

  9. Giselle says:

Petra Pierre Robertson!!! I knew it yuh know. I did not touch the book for spite. Today I had some business to conduct so I took it to pass the time. Girl!!! This is the best. I loved “No Guarantee” but “Second Chances” is it girl…

    • Petra says:

lol. I was told to warn readers to pick it up only when they have the time to read it through to the end since it is very compelling. lol
